A claims processor at a government agency by day, Ms Ferguson has long been indulging in her secret passion in her spare time – cooking up delicious sweets and treats.
Ms Ferguson’s talents will be put to the test in the upcoming television show Zumbo’s Just Desserts – a My Kitchen Rules-style reality series hosted by renowned patissier and chef Adriano Zumbo
Ms Ferguson, 37, said she could be quite opinionated – a quality sure to set tensions blazing during the series, which launches August 22 on Seven.
“I can be really blunt and I offend people quite easily,” she said.
“Going into this competition, there’s no middle ground, it’s win or lose. I’m going to go down in a blaze of glory if I’m going down.”
Ms Ferguson lives on a 10-acre block with her partner Matt and their two children.
She said she was tired of being “chained to a desk”, and had a secret dream of opening a dessert food truck.
