VICSES units in the Midwest region of Victoria received thousands of dollars worth of equipment as part of the yearly AAMI/SES handover.
VICSES volunteers from Ballarat collected equipment necessary to carry out the work they do for their communities during emergencies.
The items including chainsaws, helmets, back braces and fluorescent lighting will help the volunteers to conduct search and rescue safely and effectively.

Frank Gillet and Norm Baker attended the handover at the Ballarat regional office on behalf of their unit, Ballarat.
They have a combined number of almost 20 years as VICSES volunteers. Bacchus Marsh and Hepburn also received donations.
