Last night, it was announced the 12-year-old had won the official Art Gallery of Ballarat Young Archies competition for Years 6 to 8.
Last week, it was also announced that Teaneil had won The Courier’s People’s Choice Award for her work, Cara.
Jay Mayne, 6, from Clunes Primary School, won the Prep to Year 2 category with his work Eyden.
The Year 5 to 8 category was won by Audrey English, 9, from St Columba’s Primary for her work Winter at the library.
All 300 finalists were invited to a ceremony last night at the gallery, where the Archibald Prize exhibition has just opened for the next six weeks.
