Several Ballarat teams will compete in the 2016 Murrun Dhelk Statewide Koori football and netball carnival at Bendigo on October 15 and 16. The carnival features around 800 athletes from almost 70 teams across Victoria and is a coming together of indigenous communities. A number of former AFL players are registered to play in the competition while former Brisbane Lions star and AFL Victoria diversity manager Chris Johnson will be in attendance.
