PETstock was awarded the regional development Victoria business achievement award at the 2016 Regional Achievement and Community Awards on Friday night.
PETstock’s charity foundation was highlighted during the awards, which acknowledge contributions made by communities and businesses in regional and rural Victoria.
Edging out 280 nominations, the Ballarat business was recognised for its $1 million dog and cat food donation which contributed 58 tonne of food to 240 animal rescue groups.
The Avoca Hotel was also recognised on the night, taking home with them the customer service award.
Winters Flat Primary School in Castlemaine also won the environmental sustainability award.
