Ambulances were called to a car crash near the Daylesford Road exit on the Western Freeway in Nerrina on Tuesday afternoon after a vehicle went across the median strip, crashing into another vehicle.

A spokesperson for Ambulance Victoria said a woman in her 20s was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital after she had sustained abdominal injuries in the collision.
An ambulance and ambulance manager attended the scene.
The incident occurred just before 5.30pm when the vehicle heading west along the freeway veered across into oncoming traffic, forcing police to block one lane.
