Nemani Valucava and Luke Webb have been given the task of leading Clunes in the Central Highlands Football League next season.
Valucava has been appointed senior coach, with Webb a playing assistant.
Clunes spent most of last season with Ryan Hudson-Morgan acting as interim coach after Dale Cowell parted ways with the Magpies.
Valucava, who played with Clunes as a junior, returns to the Magpies after spending this year with North Ballarat Rebels in support roles.
His background includes time with the army in Darwin as a physical training instructor.
He also played with various teams in the NT at junior and senior levels, as well as having coaching roles NT Thunder in the NEAFL.
Valucava also coached Victoria-Tasmania in last year’s National diversity championships.
Webb is set to arrive early in the new year from Queensland.
A key forward, he has coached Cairns City Lions for the past two years.
He also coached Cootamundra to a AFL Canberra division three premiership in 2014, when he also took out the competition’s best and fairest.
He played with Rock-Yerong Creek in the Farrer league for six years before taking on the Cootamundra assignment. He was the FFL leading goalkicking in his last year.
Clunes finished 16th with two wins this year
