One of the biggest events on the Creswick Golf Club calendar is set to begin.
The club will kick-start its annual tournament with a men’s Stableford event from 12.30pm on Thursday.
Competition continues on Friday with an 18-hole women’s four-ball best ball, while Saturday’s schedule includes stroke events.
The tournament concludes on Sunday with an Ambrose competition.

Following the recent wet weather, the club is reporting its course is in excellent condition for the big week ahead.
Goldfields Resort golf shop manager Jeremy Fontana said that since taking over the resort a year ago, RACV had made a number of significant improvements to the course, which has resulted in ease and speed of play.
Creswick Golf Club captain Tim Kelly said that he hoped the local golfing community would support the club’s tournament again this year.
