Ballarat's Joel Findlay has put himself in the box seat to secure the Badminton Victoria elite player series.
Findlay has moved to a clear lead in the men's doubles category after a triumphant Ballarat open and graded championship.
He combined with Jeff Tho to win the men's double and then put icing on the cake by claiming the mixed doubles with Nhi Phung.
Findlay and Tho defeated Ashwant Gobinathan and Andrew Paulet 21-15 20-22 21-13 in the final.
Findlay went into the two-day tournament deadlocked with Hung Pham at the top of the men's doubles points table.
With Pham not playing, the top seeded Findlay took full advantage – also defeating the third and fourth-placed players in the rankings in the opening round.
Just one event, the Victoria Open, remains in the series.
Ballarat youngster Dan Hocking also tasted multiple success.
He won the A grade men’s doubles with Brandon Olver, B grade singles and B grade mixed doubles with Ella Bradwell at Ken Kay Stadium.
