Community service for threatening sister
A man who threatened his sister has been ordered to serve 75 hours of community service.
The Ballarat Magistrates Court heard Scott Cameron was using ice when he said to his sister: “I’m going to smash your face in and put your head through a door” and punched a cupboard.
The court heard the woman grabbed a cricket bat to defend herself.
Defence lawyer Mike Wardell said his client suffered post traumatic stress disorder after breaking his jaw in 23 places in a motorbike accident.
