BURSTS of bright colour transformed Urquhart Park Primary School pupils into a moving rainbow on Thursday.
Their mission was to walk as many laps of the school they could in a session. Their reward was being covered in a new colour for each lap complete.
Pupils have been busy raising money and getting per-lap donation pledges all term for the annual school Lapathon.
Only this year, the event had a colourful twist.
White t-shirts quickly became badges of colour-colliding honour about the schoolyard with the added lap motivation.
But it was not just pupils that enjoyed the rainbow fun. Teachers were showered in pops of fun colours too.
Now the fun for parents is in washing their vividly coloured children clean.
