It follows a report in The Courier earlier this week which showed more than 17 per cent of what Ballarat residents puts in their recycling bins ends up in landfill.
Ms Linley was answering a question at Wednesday night’s Ballarat City Council meeting from Gary Fitzgerald, who said many recycling bin labels which showed what could be placed in them had faded.
