The commuter car park will now be three levels and will house 405 spaces, 135 more than the initial plan.
Parking had been one of the primary concerns following the announcement of the $44 million precinct deal with Pellicano in November last year.
While formalised parking was due to increase to 420 spaces through the project development, it would have represented a reduction of 120 commuter spaces given 150 of the new parks will be designated to the hotel and convention centre.
Overall the precinct will now house 555 car parks, representing an increase of about 15 commuter spaces compared to the current arrangement.
Construction of the car park is expected to be among the first works at the precinct and is set to begin later this year.
