Detectives wish to interview the 36-year-old in relation to domestic violence incidents involving assaults and an aggravated burglary.
Halson is yet to be charged.
There is also an outstanding warrant.
It’s believed Halson frequents the Ballarat and Beaufort regions.
Ballarat-based Detective Senior Constable Amanda Goodwin urged anyone with information about Halson’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at crimestoppersvic.com.au.
Alternatively, call Ballarat police’s family violence unit on 5336 6128.
Meanwhile, Ballarat police are seeking to identify a man and a woman who may be able to assist with inquiries in relation to a burglary and use of stolen credit cards at a supermarket in Ballarat on May 26.
The woman was wearing a light blue jumper.
