The Strikers face the sixth-placed Eltham Redbacks, which sit on nine points with two wins, three draws and two losses so far this season, at Eltham North Reserve on Sunday.
The Strikers are without scoring power in Lisie Dodds, who is expected to miss about three months with a knee injury.
Sophie Emota from the development team has stepped up to start up front to replace Dodds, having scored six goals this season in the reserves.
Tarryn Harris is another who has been promoted from the reserves squad, with seniors Vanessa Yung and Hannah Sawkins both unavailable to play.
Kate Lyons returns as goalkeeper after missing last week’s match, with her replacement Kaitlyn Waldie coming back out of the side.
