POPULAR St Kilda-based street food purveyor Hank Marvin Market is ready to serve up a treat for Ballarat’s booming foodie culture.
The first Baker’s Exchange is ready to serve up until sold out at Ballarat Mining Exchange this weekend.
Hank Marvin has called on its cake, bread and patisserie specialists for the pop-up event and, in true Hank Marvin style, there will also be a few new traders unearthed to bring something special and different to our table.
Baker’s Exchange is part of Ballarat Winter Festival and will also serve as a taste for a Hank Marvin Big Burger Tour, set for Ballarat in the summer.
Bake highlights include Ostrich and Egg’s trademark koeksisters, a South African doughnut with unique flavouring. Rawbeet, only trading on Saturday, takes vegan bakes to a whole new taste sensation.
Hank Marvin founder Paul Wesolek said the exchange was something fun for people wanting to get out and about this winter.
Baker’s Exchange is open from 9am until sold out, Saturday and Sunday.
