It took the Strikers only four minutes to score the first goal of the match in front of a home crowd via star forward Lisie Dodds.
But the squad was unlucky to conceive an own goal from a deflection to level the scores 1-1 at half time.
The sixth-placed Keilor Park came out strong in the second half and scored a quick goal to take the lead, before Dodds scored the equaliser at the 68th minute.
While the Strikers had more attack on goals, they could not find the back of the net to get in front.
The match ended with the 2-2 scoreline, the Strikers’ fourth draw of the season.
Strikers coach Laura Brady said the match was a significantly better performance from the squad, which was characterised by more willingness to attack the ball, which created opportunities.
The game was a marked improvement on the previous time the two sides met, with Keilor Park winning that match by five goals.
