TAC Cup players Lloyd Meek, Callan Wellings and Flynn Appleby will return to their Greater Western Victoria duties on Sunday. Coming into the side is Matt Austin, Keenan Waterbury and Lochie Huppatz will be the 23rd man. Austin will be a welcome return to the defensive unit, but after scans showed a slight tear in his shoulder muscle three weeks ago, he will need to undergo a fitness test before running onto Piranha Park.
Despite three Rebels leaving the squad, the Roosters will still field an extremely youthful side – as it has done all season. Coach Marc Greig said Coburg, which has also won just one match, is a similarly young side but will stretch the Roosters in the air.
