And more unverified video footage has emerged of the ute doing a burnout on Norman Street.
The resident who provided the new CCTV video, speaking on condition of anonymity, said it was filmed on Wednesday – the same day the ute was captured by a dash cam in Stockland’s car park almost running over a pedestrian.
Highway Patrol member Acting Senior Sergeant Ben Young thanked residents who had assisted police in the investigation but called for more witnesses to come forward.
“Police spoke to a man driving a silver Nissan Navara dual cab on Learmonth Street on Wednesday, and are asking that man to contact the Ballarat Highway Patrol,” he said.
“Police have also been unable to confirm the identity of the woman in the (Stockland Wendouree) video and are also asking her to contact the Ballarat Highway Patrol.”
