Fourteen-year-old Jaye is headed to the Futsal World Cup in Spain in November after being one of 12 selected for the under-14 Australian team.
Jaye has already participated in two Ballarat-based four-day training camps with his new teammates, with the final camp to take place in Brisbane before the team flies out to Barcelona.
The young athletes will then have the opportunity to train with the professional Barcelona futsal team before the competition kicks off.
Meanwhile, older brother Jesse, 16, is vying for a scholarship in the United States.
Jesse joined NSR Australia, a program that helps students get recruited into colleges in the United States, after being scouted at a match.
He said he was both surprised and excited to be included in the program, where colleges will be able to access film of Jesse playing and make him offers.
The brothers hope to one day enter the professional circuit.
