His re-signing is a huge boost for new coach Nathan Cooper-Brown, with the GMHBA Miners looking to build after reaching a conference grand final last season.
King-Davis had a big say in the Miners’ progress, averaging 15.9 points and 6.9 rebounds.
Cooper-Brown said retaining King-Davis was a vital step in building on this year’s success.
“He provided unrivalled athleticism and a strong post presence. Then through his hard work he started to develop his three-point shot which made him more difficult to guard.”
“Marv showed throughout the season what he was capable of on floor.
“We envisage seeing him to tap into a ton of unrealized potential,” Cooper-Brown said.
King-Davis is in the US for the off-season and plans to return to Ballarat in late February.
