HISTORIC Ballarat property Nieder Weisel has been sold for an undisclosed price.For the past seven years, the Webster St property has been owned by Ballarat identities Samantha and Greg McIntosh."It's been quite an experience and opportunity," Mr McIntosh said."We've carried out a high level of restoration to bring it back to the Victorian era."Mr McIntosh said ownership of Nieder Weisel would change hands "towards Christmas". However, he would not reveal any information about the new owner or owners, except that they were from the Ballarat area.Nieder Weisel was built in 1885 by Edward Stephens and is classified by the Victorian National Trust. Mr McIntosh said he and his wife were looking at other ventures in the tourism sector.
