Because by doing so, your club will receive a cash donation.
Upon entry to the course – which is free – the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club is asking people to register themselves and nominate their local sporting group.
For every registration, that club will receive a $10 donation from the BGRC. And for the club that has the most people registered on the night, an extra $1000 will be on its way.
Every person that registers for the Sports Club Challenge will receive a $5 bet from the TAB, providing they are over 18 years old.
North Melbourne champion Brent Harvey will be on course on Saturday night and there will be plenty of activities for the kids, including a jumping castle, giant slide and face painting.
The meeting will be highlighted by the group 2 Ballarat Cup final, which is set to be run at 9.12pm.
Gates open at 5pm.
