The accused man, aged in his 20s who The Courier cannot name for legal reasons, is on trial in the County Court at Ballarat.
The man has pleaded not guilty to nine charges, including four counts of rape and one count each of burglary, false imprisonment and recklessly conduct endangering a person.
His offending relates to a woman he was in a relationship in 2015.
The 13 jurors retired to consider their verdict after 1pm on Wednesday.
The trial started last Tuesday before Judge Michael McInerney.
