The project will add 22 new specialty shops and 10 dining options to the precinct.
Platypus Shoes opened a store in the centre last week, with three other retailers reopening their doors following the completion of works.
Stockland development manager Phil Newton said there had been great work completed so far.
“The majority of the demolition works are complete and we recently started erecting walls for the new section of mall which will be a part of the 6700 square metres of new retail floor space,” he said.
“This redevelopment is all about offering customers a first-class retail experience.
“We are confident that, on completion, Stockland Wendouree will become the star local destination for the community to meet, eat, shop and socialise.”
