Officers also apprehended and interviewed one man over alleged trafficking offences on Thursday afternoon following a police operation at the festival’s entrance near Lexton.
Ballarat-based Inspector Trevor Cornwill said police would have a presence at the festival until it finishes on Monday.
“Lots of families attend, so we want to make sure people keep it safe and have a good time,” he said.
Earlier in the week, Rainbow director Tim Harvey urged people not to take drugs into the site.
“It's incredibly destructive to themselves and the reputation of our whole community,” he said.
