Next GEN 2018 showcases the work of students from government, Catholic and independent schools from the region who last year completed VCE studies in art, studio arts, design and technology, visual communication and design and media.
“The show gives an insight into the interests, passions and inspiration of young people. Viewers will be amazed at the technical competence and creative abilities of the exhibitors,” said gallery education officer Kate Gorman.
Ms Gorman said students were thrilled to be chosen to be part of the annual exhibition.
“They are excited to see their work displayed within a professional context and to be viewed by family and friends. Many of the exhibitors would have experienced visited the show as part of their studies.”
Next GEN 2018 runs from February 10 to March 12.
