Minister for Regional Development Jaala Pulford announced $230,000 to fund the upgrades of Raglan, Redbank and Barkly halls.
The walls at Raglan Hall will be resealed and painted as part of the refurbishment, and the windows, verandah and foundations will be upgraded.
The changes will enable a broader use of the facilities, including the potential to hire out the spaces for weddings and other events to provide an income stream that will support the hall’s sustainability.
“Community halls are at the heart of small towns like Raglan, Barkly and Redbank, and this investment will make them more accessible, comfortable and usable for locals,” Pulford said.
