Over 700 volunteers from community groups across Ballarat, have been involved in the running of the event’s two days which expects crowds, well into the thousands, of people looking to sell, swap and exchange all goods, small and large from candles to cars.
The huge event has been the six month planning of Ballarat’s eight rotary clubs as a community project, and involved thousands of hours of preparation.
All profits from the event are distributed to Ballarat’s rotary clubs who will give it back to the community and the various charities they work with.
The event will run Friday and Saturday, at Ballarat airport, from 7am to 6pm, public parking opens at 6am.
