Captained by Luke Binks from Queensland, Australia will be looking to keep the coveted Tasman Shield, after comfortably defeating the Kiwi’s last year.
Joining Mr Binks will be local Katherine McWade, and Andrew McKinnon from New South Wales.
Mr McKinnon, having competed in last year’s tournament, expressed his excitement about the upcoming event.
“It’s always exciting to participate in an international competition like this, and its even better to get a chance to beat the Kiwi’s,” Mr McKinnon laughed.
“I’m confident we can repeat last year’s results, we’ve got a great team.”
New Zealand will not go down lightly, sporting their own strong team filled with both experience in the form of captain Callum Forbes and Emily Perrin, and youth with last year’s rookie, Simon Neilsen.
The competition will take place this weekend, with tickets available here
