They defeated Monash Warriors 34-0 in their second game.
Jasmine Coleman led the way for the Kestrels with three touchdowns at Melton.
She also received had four receptions for gains of 121 yards.
Molly Branson, quarter-back Libby Pellow, Molly Branson and Grace Cowton were also prominent players.
Pellow rushed 19 yards and scored the first touchdown, while Branson made eight tackles and a sack on the Monash quarter-back.
Coleman’s first touchdown came in the first half and enabled the Kestrels to go to half-time leading 14-0.
Other round four results: Western Crusaders 43 d Melton Wolves 6, Croydon Rangers 62 d Northern Lady Raiders 44.
Rangers lead the competition unbeaten, but have played four matches. Kestrels are fifth in the six-team competition.

Kestrels have another week off for the Labour Day long weekend before facing Western Crusaders at Alfredton Reserve on Sunday, March 18 at 2pm – their second game in Ballarat for the year.
With the men's season yet to begin, Ballarat Falcons has two come and try sessions coming up at Sebastopol's Marty Busch Reserve as they look to finalise its player list.
The first is on Saturday at 11am, followed by another next Wednesday at 6.30pm.
In contrast to the women’s season which runs from February to May, the men’s open competition is June to October.
