He has My Tribeca and Vincennes in the group 1 $100,000 Australian Grand Prix, 2240m; Nieta, Fiery Mountain Girl, Heavenly Sister and Glenferrie Burn in the group 1 $60,000 Breed For Speed Gold Series for open class mares, 1720m; Amour De Frere and Pretty Majestic in the group 1 $60,000 Need For Speed Princess Final for 3yo fillies, 1720m; and La Grange in the group 1 $60,000 Need For Speed Prince Final for 3yo colts/geldings, 1720m.
Golino also had 15 runners at the corresponding meeting last year – winning twice, including having the first four across the line in the Need For Speed Princess Final.
Golino is looking to add to his season tally of winners in Victoria which sits on 36, which have all come in trotting events. He sits seventh in the state trainers’ premiership.
