The black and yellow drone which landed in January has been sitting in the Bacchus Marsh police station since January after landing in the finder's backyard.
Sergeant Mark Bacon said so far police have been unable to locate its owner.
“We have a few of these get reported, but more often than not they are handed back on the via the Bacchus Marsh residents Facebook page,” Sergeant Bacon said.
“There are some restrictions on where they can fly and I know we’ve had one member write up a charge over a drone flying in a residential area.”
If the drone is yours, contact the Bacchus Marsh police station on 5366 4500 to arrange collection of it.
