Two brand new classrooms, and two renovated rooms, are stage one of a five-stage $2 million redevelopment of the school’s facilities.
“Our students are really excited to be part of the opening, our parents are really curious to see in the classrooms, and it’s important for staff who are excited to be in modern classrooms and who are over moving,” said principal Scott Phillips.
Stage two will see prep classrooms renovated, new toilets and staff room. Other works include modernising the front office, art room, Chinese room, and decking and landscaping. The project is expected to be finished mid-year.
“This is about making sure we have the best facility available for our school kids and for our teachers and teaching staff,” said Wendouree MP Sharon Knight who officially opened the new classrooms.
