A 15-year-old Ross Creek girl has had her arm severed in a shocking water skiing accident on the Murray River north of Mildura at the weekend.

The teenager remains in a stable condition at the Royal Children’s Hospital after her arm became entangled in the rope as she was learning to water ski at about 5pm on March 10.
The driver of the boat, a 43-year-old man stopped and assisted in helping the girl being pulled from the water.
The boat, skis and tow rope have all be seized by forensic officers.
The girl was initially treated at the Mildura Base Hospital before being airlifted to Melbourne.
