St Kilda great Nick Riewoldt, Sydney premiership coach Paul Roos and North Melbourne flag winner David King dropped into Pleasant Street Primary School.
The trio was grilled by students at the school during a question and answer session before a short football clinic.
Riewoldt, Roos and King, who are now all media personalities, will be the headline acts at a function at The Sporting Globe later on Tuesday evening.
The roadshow rolls on to Bendigo on Wednesday.
The AFL premiership season is drawing near, with round one set to get underway next week.
As has been common in recent times, Richmond and Carlton will kick off the year.
The two teams will play at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday, March 22.
