He is returning to his former Essendon District league club Greenvale after joining the Panthers mid-season last year.
Kent’s move to Melton South from Riddell District club Lancefield allowed him to reunite with coaching panel member Ash Manning as the Panthers took a shot at playing finals.
They had spent time together at Greenvale, Glenroy, Tullamarine and Lancefield as he developed into a prolific goalkicker.
Melton South recruited him to bolster its attack, but he managed just 10 goals in six games playing alongside spearhead Brendan Fevola, who has Manning as his co-coach this year.
