Champion Linley Frame to share winning ways at Ballarat Sportsman's Club dinner

WORLD champion swimmer and Olympian Linley Frame will share stories of her success in Ballarat next week.Frame, one of Australia's greatest breast stroke champions, will be guest speaker at Ballarat Sportsman's Club March dinner on Wednesday night.A member of the Australian Institute of Sport Hall of Fame, Frame was world champion and gold medallist at the 1991 World Swimming Championships and has broken 247 records during her career. Frame has also collected gold and silver medals at the World Championship, Pan Pacific and World Shortcourse Championship events. Out of the water, Frame has forged a career as a swimming commentator, covering the 1996, 2000 and 2004 summer Olympic Games.The Australian Institute of Sport Athlete of the Year is an Ambassador for The Fred Hollows Foundation and was the Swimmers' Representative on the Australian Swimmers' Commission for 10 years.Ballarat's swimming fraternity and sporting fans are welcome to attend the dinner.Bookings are essential.* For more details, contact Neil Thompson on 5339th6698 or Michael Hallahan on 0419 567 390.
