Redline Raceway will have a belated 50th anniversary celebration on Saturday night.
Belmont Speedway Drivers’ Club originally planned to mark the event on Saturday, March 31, but the race meeting was washed out.
Victorian Speedcar Drivers Association will in conjunction with Redline present the inaugural “Bill Evans Classic” for speedcars. Evans promoted Redline from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s and was instrumental in getting Redline meetings televised live.
