Player Molly Matthews said the squad had been “sort of shocked” by its dominant performance over a tough side in Dandenong after a poor start last season and was determined to continue the good form.
“It is such a good feeling,” she said. “It was a completely different game out there, the team has such a different feel… it is really exciting.”
Ballarat Skoda Rush comes up against Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence on Friday at 6pm, then back up on Saturday against Canberra at 7.30pm, with both games in Canberra.
“I think it is just important to keep working together and keep that flow happening,” Matthews said.
“It is also important that if things do go a little bit pear-shaped we do stick with it and keep working hard because that’s our game at the moment.”
