Finch, originally from Colac, tied the knot with Melbourne’s Amy Griffith’s at Golden Point’s Willow and Stone Estate in front of 130 guests last weekend.
He had booked the April 7 date for his wedding, thinking it would give him time to fly to India to play the round one match with Kings XI Punjab.
Little did he know the season would start a week earlier than he thought.
"I saw the fixture this morning - there's no chance I'll be missing my wedding," Finch told cricket.com.au in February.
"That'd be a bit tough leaving Amy at the altar, wouldn't it?"
"The second game we play is on the 13th, that'll give me plenty of time to get over there and miss only one game luckily.”
In a star-studded affair, there were plenty of big name cricketers on hand for the affair.
The likes of George Bailey, Mitch Marsh, James Faulkner, Peter Siddle and New Zealand opener Martin Guptill were all in attendance.
