Between 7am and 7pm on Saturday traffic will be alternated through one open lane for 1.5km west of the Pykes Creek Reservoir.
Traffic controllers will be on site.
The speed limit will be set at 40km/h.
VicRoads has asked motorists allow an extra five minutes when planning their journey.
Melbourne-bound traffic will be unable to travel through the area for 15 minutes at approximately midday.
Motorists travelling towards Melbourne at this time will be stopped by traffic controllers and will have to wait until this section of repair work is completed before they can continue.
We thank motorists for their patience during these essential works.
Keeping all road users and our construction crews safe is VicRoads’ highest priority. We ask motorists to obey the changed traffic conditions and thank them in advance for their patience during the works.
