The 2018 Administrative Professionals Breakfast will say thank you to all the people who work so hard to keep offices running smoothly.
The event on May 4 at North Ballarat Sports Club will feature television and radio personality Meshel Laurie as a guest speaker.
Ms Laurie is an official ambassador for the Dalai Lama and Reconciliation Australia and is the author of Buddhism for the Unbelievably Busy.
Ballarat Foundation fundraising coordinator Margo Petit said Ms Laurie’s speech will send a message on how to manage workplace and home.
“We all do too much. For mums, work is their second job. They go home, race to football, cook dinner and do the washing. Meshel will send a message on how to slow down,” she said.
The Administrative Professional of the Year Award will also be presented at the breakfast.
