In the first three days of Operation Fahrenheit, 1350 people were tested across two booze buses, with only one drunk driver detected.
Speeding drivers were also targeted, with 10 motorists recorded doing 25 kilometres per hour or more over the speed limit.
Police said one driver was clocked at 139 kilometres per hour in a 100 kilometres per hour zone, with two children on board while heading to Tatura in the state’s North.
Other offences included six vehicles considered unroadworthy, and one vehicle failing to slow to 40 kilometres per hour when passing an emergency vehicle.
