Winnard had his number taken during the Central Highlands Football League senior clash against Waubra on Saturday, which his side lost by 48 points.
That result has left the Bulldogs winless after the opening three rounds of the season.
Meanwhile, Darley player Matt Young has decided to contest a charge of rough conduct that stemmed from the Ballarat Football League round one senior clash with Bacchus Marsh on Saturday afternoon.
Young was offered a two-week set penalty, but has opted to fight the report.
Darley won the grand final rematch by a solitary point.
Both Winnard and Young are set to appear at the tribunal on Tuesday.
