Jessica D'Antonio had four majors in what was a day out in the red and blue jumper, while Alana Preston and Jessica Morris kicked two apiece, and were joined by six other goal kickers.
While Ballarat managed to stem the flow in the second and fourth terms, the Bulldogs had a six-goal third quarter to put the game well out of reach.
With not many talls, the Bulldogs took advantage of its speed and the fitness gained over preseason, while every player pitched in to produce a solid defensive effort while also lively in attack.
The impressive display has stamped the Bulldogs as one of the teams to beat this season, sitting comfortably at the top of the ladder.
But it was Bacchus Marsh to take the biggest score and winning margin, with its 135-point demolition of Darley at Maddingley Park on Sunday, 148-13.
The Devils in their first run in open age competition were behind by just a point at the first break, but Bacchus Marsh fired in the second quarter booting 10 goals while keeping its opponent scoreless.
Madalyn Clarke enjoyed a bag of eight in her first outing for the Cobras for season 2018, while Emily Crawford, Abbey Bertram and Jacinta Reid all dominated across the ground.
The damage could have been worse with Bacchus Marsh collecting 14 points in the second half, compared to just two in the first.
Meanwhile, East Point overcame a first-quarter deficit to end the game against Carisbrook as convincing winners and snatch third on the ladder.
Zoe Wathen kicked a haul of five for East Point at White Flat Oval on Sunday, while Genna Stiles was among the best for Carisbrook and kicked one of the Lions’ three goals.
And Lake Wendouree held its head high with a competitive game against Melton Centrals for its first game in senior competition.
Lake Wendouree led Melton at quarter time, before Melton fought back.
While there were only 11 points between the two sides at the final change, Melton ran over the top of Lake Wendouree in the fourth term to celebrate a 32-point victory.
