The Eagles have three wins and a loss along with a washout, to sit second on the ladder.
Meanwhile, in the A grade competition, Ballarat Mounties suffered a heavy defeat to Saints.
The Saints set the tone early with a four-run first innings, that was followed by a two and then five more runs in the third before the fifth innings brewed a massive seven runs for Saints – all the while the Mounties could not muster a run.
Saints’ Emerson Rickard and Josh Lee held the Mounties in check with an outstanding pitching display, holding a clean sheet.
Overall, an 18-0 scoreline made for bleak reading for Mounties fans.
Mounties host Bellarine next week.
