Ballarat Youth League Miners defeat rivals, but Rush go down in nail-biter

Ballarat Youth League Miners enjoyed an on-the-road victory over rivals Bendigo, 100-79, in Big V competition.

Top scorers included Liam Allison 32 points and an incredible 10 three-pointers, Zac Dunmore 19 points and Jamie Constable 18 points.

But the results did not fall in Ballarat Youth League Rush’s favour with the team going down to Bendigo, 86-83, in a Victorian Youth Championship Women nail-biter. 

Rush’s Amelia Jarvis collected 20 points, Maggie Tranter 16 points, Laura Taylor 15 points,  India Hayes 14 points and Zara Arhanghelschi 10 points.
