A male cyclist in his 60s has been taken to the Ballarat Base Hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Webster Street this afternoon.

Traffic in both directions was blocked off for about 30 minutes while police and paramedics attended the scene across the road from Webster’s Market and Cafe just after midday.
The man remained conscious and breathing and was taken to hospital with facial and shoulder injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was assisting police with their inquiries.
