Balarat Hospice Care op shop manager Heidi O’Neill and volunteers have carefully sourced and collected a wide selection of special items for a charity stall as part of the festival at St Patrick’s Cathedral hall.
Exquisite handmade aprons, handkerchiefs, clothing and a 1920s wedding dress will be on show.
“We will have a wide range of speciality items not displayed in the shops but put away for the festival,” Ms O’Neill said.
“There will be lots of quirky vintage bits and pieces, including old calculators in keeping with this year’s technology theme.”
Hospice is the community charity of choice for this year’s Ballarat Apron Festival.
While the theme is technology, there will be vintage, modern and competition aprons on display with lots of craft opportunities.
Ballarat Apron Festival runs on Saturday and Sunday.
